There the factors of legitimation of power in the Turko-Mongol states of Eurasia beginning from the Chinggis Khan’s empire and up to the last attempt of foundation of the independent khanates in the Central Asia of the first half of the 20th cent. as well as the problem of usurpation and imposture in these states are considered in this book. On a base of the analysis of numerous specific examples author clarifies general trends and basic factors of the fight for power, its methods and techniques, traces the evolution of these factors at the different stages of the political and legal development of the Turko-Mongol states, ways of justification by usurpers and impostors of their rights for supreme power (some of these ways still use in the political struggle in the states of Middle East and Central Asia).
The book is designed for historians of the state and law, historians of the Orient and orientalists, specialist in the politology and political anthropology as well as for students who study these specialties.
