Course Syllabus
Abstract
Курс знакомит студентов с основами экономики изменения климата. В начале рассматриваются научные основы причин изменения климата, а также дается обзор его экономических последствий. Далее студенты изучают экономические инструменты и подходы к анализу последствий изменения климата, географию, траектории и инструменты сокращения выбросов парниковых газов, а также историю и современное состояние международного сотрудничества в этой области. Особое внимание в дисциплине уделяется использованию методов и аналитической базы экономики окружающей среды для анализа изменения климата. Также рассматриваются позиции ведущих стран в вопросах климатической политики и переговоров с выявлением факторов, определяющих эти позиции. Курс подчеркивает взаимосвязь между изменением климата и другими глобальными экономическими вызовами, включая задачи устойчивого развития. Кроме того, выявляются ключевые пробелы в международном сотрудничестве по вопросам изменения климата.
Learning Objectives
- to form students' understanding of the relationship between the economy and the climate system
- to expand students’ knowledge of countries’ interaction on climate issues including climate change-related negotiations and climate finance
- familiarize students with the main instruments of climate policies at the international, regional and national levels
- to develop students' skills in the use of economic instruments for the analysis of climate change
