Abstract

The course "Business and Politics in European Countries" provides an in-depth study of the complex relationship between the business environment and political processes in European countries. This course examines key aspects influencing the business climate, including legislative initiatives, economic policy, financial reforms and innovation strategies. Students study how political decisions such as elections, social movements and geopolitical factors can significantly change the competitive conditions for business, as well as affect investment flows and international trade. The course focuses on comparative analysis of the economies of different European countries, including leading economies such as Germany, France and the UK, as well as emerging markets in Eastern Europe. Students will be introduced to best management practices and will also analyze successful cases of companies demonstrating adaptation to the changing political context. As a result of completing the course, students will strengthen their knowledge of how political events shape the business environment, which will allow them to more effectively navigate the European business space and develop appropriate strategies for successful operations in various countries of the region.
