Course Syllabus

Abstract

The main language of realization of the discipline is Japanese. This course focuses on the analysis of contemporary Japanese society from perspectives of development and institutionalization. The most important part of the course is to provide an analysis of theoretical and (or) officially announced aspects and practices related to the development and institutionalization of Japanese society in a comparative perspective. Participants will gain insight into Japanese identity and social phenomenon topics, comprehend the role of social norms, behavioral patterns and their influence on contemporary Japanese society.
