About

The main theme of the book is human being as a subject. The author explains this concept and explores the structures of human subjectivity and intersubjectivity. Psychoanalytic  tradition is used as a basis for analysis. The psychoanalytic approach is placed in the context of contemporary debates on the relationship between the brain and psychical reality in the light of such an interdisciplinary approach as neuropsychoanalysis. From critical analysis of neuropsychoanalysis, the author moves directly to the consideration of the structures of subjectivity and introduces the key concept of this work — objective subjectivity, which is considered together with other elements of the structure of human subjectivity — objective objectivity, subjective objectivity, subjective subjectivity etc. The last chapters deal with a  detailed parse of Jacques Lacan’s theory of the subject, the elements of which illustrate the key intuitions for this work.
The book is intended for anyone interested in contemporary psychoanalysis, as well as in the philosophy of mind and human subjectivity.
