Course Syllabus

Abstract

This course provides a detailed analysis of the modern Indonesian and Malaysian state system and economy, its structure and development prospects. The history of Indonesia's and Malaysia’s economic development, the policy of the country's authorities at various stages of this development, as well as the latest trends in the economic course of the government in the context of increasing instability in the world economy are highlighted. In this course, students acquire necessary skills to apply machine learning techniques for economic data analysis, including the application of diffusion models and random forest for predicting, analyzing and modeling economic and political processes using the example of Indonesia and Malaysia.
