Course Syllabus
Abstract
The course is designed for the students of the International Relations and Global Studies and is aimed at forming professional communicative competence and its components (language, speech, intercultural, cognitive and academic). Students are intended to achieve B2 level in terms of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages so that they can cope with different socio-communicative tasks in scientific, professional, socio-cultural domains, realise the principle of academic mobility and be able to receive international certificates and study other courses in French at foreign universities.
Learning Objectives
- The course is aimed at developing students’ skills in academic reading, listening, speaking and writing as well as their test-taking strategies while preparing for the DELF exam. It will enable students to - develop cultural, social, personal, professional and cognitive competences, - form skills in all types of speech activities and those of working autonomously, - raise sociocultural awareness, the informational culture and general cultural knowledge.
