Abstract

The entire course of language training of students is divided into two stages-the initial stage (I-II courses) and the advanced stage of training (III-IV courses). The stages differ in the complexity of the materials (from simple to complex) and the ratio of General literary language (dominates at the initial stage) and profes-sional language for special purposes (prevails at the advanced stage). Both stages are inextricably linked and subordinated to a single goal of achieving the final pro-gram requirements. The ultimate goal is for students to pass the Spanish language exam, the format of which corresponds to the requirements and structure of the in-ternational exams Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE) and Ser-vicio In-ternacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española (SIELE). The purpose of the course «Spanish language» at the advanced stage (3rd year of study) - the development of General cultural competence, the formation and de-velopment of inter-cultural foreign language professionally oriented communica-tive competence.
