Course Syllabus
Abstract
The course will draw attention to national economic models of Asian and African
countries , also on prospects for further development
and cooperation in the group. Students also will learn how to use gap analysis tools in the research design. Students will also learn broadly about other aspects of developing economies through readings in the syllabus.
During the course a mode of using artificial intelligence (AI) tools with mandatory technology disclosure is required. Any use of AI is the subject to the mandatory declaration, regardless of the scope and nature of its use.
Learning Objectives
- The class will provide a literature review on the relevant topic of the term-paper as well as the origins, dynamics and problems of development and economic integration in this group
- Students will learn critical thinking and writing skills, which will be developed through the essay and weekly assignments.
Expected Learning Outcomes
- Students learn the specifics of the national Asian and African economies
- Students will be able to analyze the current national Asian and African problems and prospects for its further development
- Students will get acquainted with gap analysis tools
- Students will learn how to formulate hypothesis, object and subject of the future term-paper
