Abstract
In the 21st century, the concept of sustainable development has become dominant in the world. Public authorities and private companies are adopting new sustainable practices aimed at balancing social, ecological, and economic interests. Successful implementation of these approaches requires mastery of a wide range of methods. This course will explore the best sustainable practices applied in urban area management, energy, retail, and other industries and business segments. Students who complete the course will be able to master advanced natural science and economic methods that are the basis of these practices. Such as GIS methods, mathematical modeling of environmental processes, econometric methods.
