Course Syllabus
Abstract
The course focuses on the complex as well as individual elements of economic interaction between countries and regions of the world with each other and considers the mechanism of the world economy also. The first part of the course examines world trade, its regulation, and Russia's position in world trade. The second part considers the cross-border movement of certain of factors of production (labor, technology) and regional economic integration. The third part examines aspects of the global financia system and international capital movements. The forth part covers issues of regulation of international economic relations. The fifth part is devoted to consideration of Russia's participation in international economic relations. The course is based on monographs by foreign and Russian authors, leading modern foreign textbooks, and analytical publications in periodicals. Prerequisites: Microeconomics, Macroeconomic Calculus.
