Depending on the object of research there are plant, animal, microbial, fungal and human genetics; depending on the methods and area of research there are molecular genetics, cytogenetics, embryogenetics, ontogenetics, physiological genetics, population genetics, evolutionary genetics ecological genetics and others. The ideas and methods of genetics play an important role in medicine, agriculture, the microbiological industry, as well as in genetic engineering. The program is intended for teachers leading the discipline "Genetics", teaching assistants and students of the 06.03.01 Biology training course studying under the educational program "Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology". The curriculum of the discipline was developed in accordance with: the HSE Educational Standard in the field of 06.03.01 Biology; the Educational program "Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology" and the combined curriculum for the educational program "Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology".
