Course Syllabus

Abstract

This course provides a comprehensive overview of key areas within linguistics, including language teaching, translation, intercultural communication, digital communications, and Russian as a foreign language. Students will explore foundational theories and concepts that underpin these fields, examining their practical applications and relevance in various professional contexts. Through a combination of theoretical discussions and practical case studies, the course will highlight the interconnections between language and its applications in real-world scenarios. Students will understand how current technologies shape language use and communication, and study their applications in the aforementioned fields. The course will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the diverse landscape of language-related professions in an increasingly interconnected world.
