Abstract
Modern trends in language research presupposes a significant proportion of multidisciplinary studies, which established the genuine applied character of linguistics as a scholarly field. The aim of this research seminar is to introduce students to cases in which linguistics finds its application to a number of essential spheres. Specifically, the seminar focuses on how linguistics manifests itself in such spheres as law, ecology, and psychology.
