Course Syllabus
Abstract
Das Programm richtet sich an Studierende des Bildungsprogramms „Fremdsprachen und Interkulturelle Kommunikation“, die Deutsch als zweite Fremdsprache lernen. Das Programm erfüllt alle Voraussetzungen für die Ausbildung kommunikativer Kompetenz in einer Fremdsprache. Die Disziplin „Kommunikative Praxis der zweiten Fremdsprache (Deutsch)“ entspricht dem grundlegenden Teil des Berufszyklus.
Learning Objectives
- The development of foreign language communicative competence at the B1 level, which presupposes the student's willingness and ability to carry out everyday communication in German on any topic and in any communicative situations and for academic communication in the most frequent uncomplicated communicative situations.
Expected Learning Outcomes
- Understand the basic ideas and some details of spoken and written texts in German, including those typical for the field of academic communication. Create generally coherent oral texts in German on familiar topics, express your thoughts clearly, give brief explanations and communicate in most situations, including those typical for the field of academic communication. Create simple written texts in German on familiar topics, generally taking into account the rules of academic communication.
Assessment Elements
- Classroom workClassroom work – the control element evaluates the student’s work, which includes, but is not limited to, the following components: participation in classes, participation in discussions and group work, answers to the teacher’s questions, preparation for classes, homework, independent work, activity, involvement and initiative. This control element evaluates the student’s use of a foreign language to solve various communicative tasks in the process of direct interaction between the teacher and students in the classroom, including with the support of prepared homework.
- Final written workFinal written work – this element of control evaluates the level of development of the student’s lexical and grammatical skills, listening and reading skills and abilities, as well as written speech proficiency for solving various communication tasks. The certification work consists of several sections: Listening, Hieroglyphics/Reading, Vocabulary and Grammar, Writing. The certification work is carried out during the last class of the module. The maximum score for each section is 25. The final maximum score is 100.
- Oral elements of current controlThis element of control checks the current level of development of the student’s language skills and speech abilities and includes an assessment of phonetic skills, as well as oral speech products created by the student.
- ExamThe oral exam is held during the session and involves the student solving a given communicative task in accordance with their level of foreign language proficiency.
- Written elements of current controlThis element of control checks the current level of development of the student’s language skills and speech abilities and includes the assessment of vocabulary, grammar tests, listening and reading tests and tasks, as well as written speech products created by the student.
