Abstract

The course concentrates on the key components of the non-traditional threats which are being originated, formed and shaped due to a number of various reasons motivated by a qualitatively new period in the development of international relations, of the balance of powers, of science and technology, of the life science, as well as by profound changes in the social, economic and cultural life of the human civilization.The course reveals the various forms of the manifestation of these new – non-traditional threats and the main consequences for global, regional and national security of the states.The course defines the characteristic factors which make non-traditional threats different from traditional ones both by the nature of the threats, the forms and the scale of their manifestations as well as the significance of their consequences.
