Course Syllabus

Abstract

Urban development law" covers the rules and policies that govern the planning, growth and management of urban areas to ensure sustainable and orderly development. It includes zoning laws, land use planning, environmental regulations and building codes, all aimed at balancing economic growth with the well-being of communities and the environment. Understanding urban development law is critical for businesses, architects, urban planners, developers and politicians to create efficient, livable and environmentally friendly urban spaces. The course is based on the study of practical cases of business activities and management tasks in settlements. Studying the course provides the formation of comprehensive competencies in the implementation of projects in urban areas.

Learning Objectives

  • Formation of a holistic understanding of trends and approaches to urban development, norms and rules that determine the planning, growth and management of urban areas to ensure sustainable and organized development. Analysis of the practice of applying laws on zoning, land use planning, environmental standards and building codes. Mastering mechanisms for balancing the economic growth of cities with the well-being of communities and the environment, developing skills in implementing urban development projects using modern technologies.
