The next book in the series “New sources on the history of Russia” includes documents from the investigation file of Alexandra Voeikova, reflecting specific traits of the composition of the Russian aristocratic community of the second half of the 18th century, the interaction of this community with the supreme power, the nature of intra-family and kinship relations, patron-client ties in the upper echelons of Russian bureaucracy, ideas about justice and the place of women in society.
