Course Syllabus

Abstract

Project Seminar provides a practical knowledge of applied research in STI processing. This course is designed for master students who want to apply their skills and knowledge in the implementation of innovation "ideas" into applied research for large companies and enterprises. Prerequisites of the course are compulsory courses for 1st year students of MP "Science, Technology and Innovation Management and Policy". The course was renewed in the framework of a grant funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation (grant ID: 075-15-2020-928): "Innovation strategies: HR-analytics on basis of big data, strategic management of personnel, talent management" module.

  • Provide students different perspectives of innovation strategy
  • Provide international expertize and experiences of successful applied research projects
  • Introduce new approaches to understand and further elaborate different facets of innovation thinking
  • Provide participants of the course with practical training as well as ready to use state-of-the-art knowledge

  • Understand what risks is, its sources and types innovative projects. Know how to make risk assessment and mapping
  • Knowledge of presentation structure. Knowledge of key elements of how to create successful presentation for applied research.
  • Understanding of potential market assessment' approaches. Know how to forecast future markets.
  • Understand the types of revenue models. Know how to make assessment of revenue model. Knowledge of cost structure analysis. Understanding of the impact of digital transformation on the revenue and the cost structure.
