Course Syllabus

Abstract

This program introduces students to blockchain technology and its strategic application in modern business environments. The course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of evolving decentralized technologies and their interaction with real-world business processes, with a special focus on the technical, economic, legal, and managerial aspects of blockchain implementation. Students will acquire core competencies in distributed ledger technology, smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), tokenomics, and blockchain security. The curriculum also places a strong emphasis on practical business cases, such as supply chain transparency, digital identity, financial inclusion, asset tokenization, and secure document management. Through hands-on labs, case studies, and industry projects, students will develop the skills to evaluate, design, and implement blockchain-based solutions across various sectors, including finance, logistics, healthcare, and the public sector. The "Blockchain in Business" course is an elective discipline within the undergraduate educational program, direction 38.03.05 "Business Informatics."
