Course Syllabus
Abstract
Research Seminar “Introduction to Digital Law” covers the basics of law in the digital environment. The course addresses the legal issues of the Internet regulation, personal data protection, intellectual property, e-commerce, digital platforms and artificial intelligence. Students will get acquainted with the main institutions of digital law, discuss current issues and challenges of legal regulation in the field of digital technologies. The course will set the foundation for further study of IT/IP law of Russia and other countries.
Learning Objectives
- Students will learn general legal challenges of digital transformation, basics of Internet Law, Data Protection Law, IP issues in the digital era, main legal aspects of artificial intelligence and digital platforms economy.
Expected Learning Outcomes
- Understand the basics of Cyberlaw, Data Protection Law, Intellectual Property Law Know the legal and ethical challenges of Artificial Intelligence Apply the knowledge to practical cases
