Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course “AI Task Automation” is aimed at developing practical skills in using artificial intelligence tools to automate workflows. The course covers key aspects of working with modern AI tools: from understanding the capabilities and limitations of language models and prompt engineering techniques to applying AI in research, document and data workflows, and no-code development. Special emphasis is placed on critical thinking when working with AI and on practically configuring an AI environment for everyday tasks. The course concludes with presentations of individual workflow automation projects.

  • The objective of the course is to develop students’ practical competencies in applying artificial intelligence tools to automate professional tasks, to foster critical thinking when working with AI tools, and to build the ability to independently construct an effective AI environment for everyday work in a no-code mode.
