Course Syllabus

Abstract

This course is aimed at developing essential academic writing and reading skills necessary for success in higher education and professional contexts. Through hands-on exercises and assignments, students learn to critically analyze scholarly texts, construct coherent arguments, and communicate complex ideas effectively. The course places emphasis on understanding different genres of academic writing, adhering to citation styles, and refining editing techniques. Additionally, it fosters critical thinking, summarization, and synthesis of information from multiple sources, which are vital for producing high-quality academic work.
