Course Syllabus

Abstract

In the modern world, where Asia is becoming an increasingly influential player, it is very important to gain a better understanding of the economic aspects of this region. Discipline "Quantitative Economics and Finance in Asia" allows students to gain fundamental knowledge about the mechanisms, driving forces and unique aspects of economic and financial processes in Asia through the prism of quantitative analysis methods. During their study, students will gain fundamental knowledge in mathematics, statistics, programming and quantitative methods of data analysis. This allows them to become in-demand specialists who are able to solve the most complex cases in the field of economics and finance in Asia using modern analytical tools. Special attention will be paid to the development of skills related to studying economic processes in the Asian region.
