Course Syllabus
Abstract
The main goal of the course is to teach the skills of writing a voluminous essay in English within the framework of professional topics (contemporary art, cinema). Students develop techniques for creating written work on a given topic, as well as the ability to carry out an effective search of the literature, evaluating and analyzing it. The course aims to develop students' critical thinking. Students get acquainted with the analysis of texts and methods of argumentation, there is a refinement of writing various parts of the essay. The course is taught in English.
