Abstract
The Vietnamese Language for Professional Communication Course is designed for non-native learners who have completed approximately three years of college-level Vietnamese study. This advanced course aims to elevate students' proficiency to the B2 level by focusing on the specialized vocabulary and communication skills necessary for discussing complex economic, political, and business topics relevant to Vietnam and its international relations, particularly with Russia.
Throughout the year, students engage with authentic materials and practical scenarios that cover a broad range of themes including international trade, political systems, diplomatic relations, negotiation techniques, and the economic frameworks governing business interactions. The course emphasizes not only language acquisition but also the development of translation skills across various text types, preparing students to navigate the contemporary Vietnamese business environment with confidence and cultural awareness.
By integrating linguistic competence with an understanding of Vietnam’s socio-political and economic contexts, the course equips students to actively participate in professional discourse, interpret official documents, and handle real-world communication challenges in Vietnamese society.
